Our Educators are 18 years of age or older with a current Police Vulnerable Screening Check and a valid Standard First Aid with CPR Level "C".

As per Ministry requirements under the CCEYA, we employ:

Educators who are Registered Early Childhood Educators (registered with the College of Early Childhood Educators) or can be Director Approved with a Bachelor of Education in Primary and Junior Education or equivalent.

All Educators are trained immediately upon hire. Throughout the school year Educators receiving additional training, i.e. first aid/cpr re-certification, behavior management techniques, policies and procedures and program planning strategies. We encourage all Educators to continue their education by taking courses related to the field through our in house training sessions and training offered in the child care community. There are also many workshops and training sessions offered through the school boards which our Educators are encouraged to attend.
